As the saying goes, “The acorn does not fall far from the tree.”
Usually this refers to children following their parents’ example throughout their lives. Knowing Perry Buck for over 40 years, she totally exemplifies her parents’ contributions to God, country and family.
Bill Webster, Perry’s Dad, served as a Weld County Commissioner and as a Colorado State Representative, and was always concerned about the ideas and the welfare of those he represented. Her Mom, Sylvia Webster, served on many of their church boards and also on the WC School District 6 Board, making decisions that improved the K-12 education of our children.
Now their daughter, Perry Buck, after serving as a County Council member and a State Representative, is running for Weld County Commissioner at Large. Her legislative experience and total focus on the well being of the citizen makes her the best choice in the June 30 primary.
Perry’s opponent got a head start when the current County Council gave him the nod to fill Sean Conway’s vacant seat in February. Now, it is up to the voters to choose wisely.
We whole-heartily endorse Perry Buck for Weld County Commissioner at Large in the June 30 primary.
Warren and JoAnn Mitchell, Greeley
